We are a residential window replacement company that started in Flint, Michigan as a one man operation in 1990. Since then we have grown into five retail offices, a window manufacturing facility, a finance company and we now cover four states.

· Opened In 1990
· Acquired one old building on S. Saginaw Street in 1992
· Acquired adjoining building in 1996
· Bought vinyl window manufacturing facility in Burton in 1997
· Major tooling and equipment changes in 1998
· Built warehouse on S. Saginaw Street in 2000
· Factory in Burton collapsed in 2000 and was rebuilt in 2001
· Major renovations at South Saginaw Street location - new facade,
entire exterior redone and combined all buildings into one office
for corporate headquarters in 2001
· Opened sales office in Merrillville, IN in March 2007
· Moved factory from Burton, MI to Flint, MI in February 2008
· Opened sales office in Indianapolis, IN in March 2008
· New state of the art manufacturing equipment added in 2008

Paramount Improvements opened in 1990 and was incorporated in 1991. Thomas Panek, the owner/CEO of the company, started as a one man operation selling vinyl sliding windows and casement windows, as well as siding and roofing. He had spent the previous two years working for a competitor and realized the potential in the young and developing residential window replacement industry.
Over the last 20 years, the industry has seen significant change with the development of the all welded window, premium vinyl siding, and deluxe roofing products. In 1997, Thomas Panek, purchased a vinyl window factory and has subsequently kept up with the industry progression by upgrading its lines of vinyl sliding windows and other residential replacement windows four times in the last 13 years, modernizing its manufacturing facility, and developing a honest and ethical sales and service department.
